Иногда я пишу по-русски, потому что я очень люблю этот язык и хочу и лучше и говорить и понимать. К сожалению, я не говорю свободно по-русски. А недавно я переехала в Москву ... и там я хотела бы познакомиться с интересными людьми.

Next weekend Jared and I are going on a long weekend trip to Ithaca together. I haven't been back for six years (!!), so I'm not up to date on activities in the area. Can you make suggestions for some fun things to do over a weekend, which don't require a car (we're taking a bus in and then staying at a B&B).

So, what is rent in NYC nowadays? In Astoria, particularly? I want to get a one-bedroom. In 2002, that was possible for $900. Is it now?

And where are the (other?) cheap places to live in NYC?
